Accessing Trust Wallet
You can easily download Trust Wallet as a mobile app for Android or iOS, or as a browser extension. For direct links, visit the Trust Wallet download page.
How to Buy Crypto with Trust Wallet
. Access Your Main Wallet
- Open Trust Wallet: Launch the Trust Wallet app on your mobile device.
- Navigate to Main Wallet: Once the app is open, you’ll see your Main Wallet dashboard, which displays your various cryptocurrencies.
- Select Bitcoin: Tap on the ‘Bitcoin’ (BTC) option from the list of cryptocurrencies. If you want to buy a different cryptocurrency, simply select that one instead.
2. Enter Purchase Amount
- Input Amount: After selecting Bitcoin, tap on the ‘Buy’ button. You’ll be prompted to enter the amount of BTC you wish to purchase. Enter the amount in your local currency or in BTC.
- Review Amount: Take a moment to review the amount you’ve entered to ensure it’s correct. The app may show an estimated amount of BTC based on current market rates.
3. Select Payment Method
- Choose Payment Option: Click on ‘Buy with Credit Card’. Trust Wallet uses third-party providers to facilitate the purchase, so you’ll be directed to a payment page.
- Note: Since Trust Wallet does not sell crypto directly, you’ll be redirected to a partner service (like Simplex or MoonPay) to complete your purchase.
4. Complete the Purchase
- Follow On-Screen Instructions: You will now see a new screen with instructions from the third-party provider. Fill out the required information, which typically includes:
- Your credit card details (number, expiration date, and CVV)
- Your email address (for receiving confirmations)
- Your billing address (to verify your identity)
- Agree to Terms: You may need to agree to the terms and conditions of the payment provider. Make sure to read these before proceeding.
5. Verify Your Identity
- Identity Verification: Depending on the provider, you might need to complete an identity verification process. This could involve:
- Uploading a government-issued ID (like a passport or driver’s license)
- Taking a selfie to confirm your identity
- Confirmation Email: Once you submit your details, check your email for a confirmation message. This may include a link you need to click to verify your purchase.
6. Review Transaction Details
- Check Fees and Total Amount: Before finalizing your purchase, review any associated fees and the total amount you’ll be charged. Ensure you’re comfortable with the fees as they can vary based on the provider.
- Confirm Purchase: If everything looks good, proceed to confirm your purchase.
7. Wait for Confirmation
- Processing Time: The transaction may take a few minutes to process. You’ll receive a notification once your purchase is complete.
- Check Wallet: After confirmation, return to the Trust Wallet app. Your newly purchased BTC should appear in your Main Wallet.
8. Secure Your Assets
- Consider Additional Security: It’s a good practice to enable security features like biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) for added protection of your wallet.
